I was the kid that got detention for not doing homework every week in elementary school and when I was a real small kid I straight up didnt do homework for a year and yet I was like pretty certain I was gifted because I was passing everything

#EVEN WHEN I FAILED GEOMETRY.#Looking back like I definitely had ADHD #And Still Do Obviously But Like #I always thought I didnt have it because again I passed Almost Everything #But For Some Reason Just Didnt Get Math And Wouldnt Do Homework Without Study Halls #Took a bunch of AP classes got no credits #Went off about Jekyll and Hyde for the AP Lit essay #Did really good in AP Lit because I Like Reading #Never got diagnosed because my dad probably also has ADHD and enabled me.#I hate my dad so much but literally the only good thing about him was him being all 'You passed with a C??? Great job!!!!'#Like you could argue it encouraged me not to try but like. Lol I wouldnt have been able to get fucking all B's and shit #Ive talked about this alot I just think its funny how easier school couldve been if I knew lol #Like Im in college now and Im doing fine if you ignore the academic warning thing #Also alot of my friends were also all bastards with undiagnosed mental illness or learning disabilities #I literally just got lucky and got like the 'weird bastard that likes books' brand of ADHD it seems #So it was like 'well Im passing everything and can write essays easy unlike my best friend who we dont realize has dyslexia yet-'#dude highschool was hell on earth.
